Dyno-Comp is often visited by cars of both unique design and cars that are often one of a kind. Pictured above are two very special vehicles that recently visited Dyno-Comp. The first vehicle parked on the left (pictured in the top photo) is a Scarab kit car. This “Scarab” was built completely by hand featuring a Chevy small block and does not have a specific year, make, or model. The second vehicle parked on the right (first photo) is a 1970 Triumph TR6 with a supercharger. This TR6 has been through many projects at Dyno-Comp including a full custom exhaust.

This truck might be as close as you will get to being struck by lightning! The 2003 Ford SVT Lightning featured above put down huge power on our dyno, almost enough to give you a serious jolt. Today Dyno-Comp held an AMG face off between a 2005 Mercedes E55 and a 2012 Mercedes CLS63. This comparison is a perfect example of how the two platforms have evolved. The legendary supercharged 55 motor came in a whopping 70-80whp less then the new twin turbo 63 platform. The cars compared in this trial were both equipped with Dyno-Comp’s Stage-1 Performance Package for their own application (Software/Pulley on the E55 and Software on the CLS63). What a battle… It looks like the twin turbo platform is definitely here to stay!
