Dyno-Comp extracts the factory ECU ROM file and saves it in our database. We then re-engineer that factory ROM file with new performance calibration data, and re-load that ROM file back into the ECU specific to your VIN# and version code of your ECU. Therefore, the Version Code and the VIN number still matches the original ROM file referenced. This makes it undetectable by your dealer, and still allows full diagnostics. If the car needs to be put back to stock, Dyno-Comp will still have your original ROM file in our database, and it can be flashed back to stock at any time..
