The Carbonetics Twin-Plate carbon clutches are designed for a vehicle with high to extreme power.  Ultimate durability is achieved by (2) carbon plates made of non-mesh random waving method while the inertia weight is kept as minimum enabling a very quick shifting.   Unlike multiple metal plate clutches, the high level of controllability at half clutch makes operation very pleasant even in annoying traffic jams and at stop and go situations on a sloping hill / street.

Exedy Twin Plate Ceramic Clutch (FM022SD)

The EXEDY Street / Race Twin Plate Clutch is designed for high torque capacity. The friction facing material is cerametallic to bundle the abuse of highly modified engines.  A patented system evenly lifts both the main pressure plate and the intermediate plate providing a "clean" release for steetability. The EXEDY Street / Race Twin Plate Clutch also includes a lightweight billet chrome moly steel flywheel.

EXEDY organic racing clutches only use premium friction materials that are resistant to slippage and burst. 44% increased clamp loads give the necessary capacity to handle modified engines. This is the preferred clutch for street and light horsepower track use. Driveability is similar to the stock clutch. Pedal efforts will be slightly higher because of the higher clamp loads. All of our clutch discs have spring center dampers to reduce drivetrain shock.
