Dyno-Comp

At Dyno-Comp in Scottsdale, AZ, we understand the importance of a powerful, functioning air conditioning system in your vehicle. When you need an air conditioning component checked out, our A/C service technicians are here to provide comprehensive A/C inspections.

Regular A/C inspections are crucial in maintaining optimal performance and preventing malfunctions. By conducting these checks, we can identify any potential issues or signs of wear and tear before they escalate into bigger problems. Our skilled professionals will thoroughly examine all components of your vehicle's air conditioning system, including the following:

Compressor
Condenser
Evaporator
Refrigerant levels
…and more!

Not only do we inspect your A/C system, but we also offer preventative maintenance services, including cleaning the condenser coils and ensuring the refrigerant levels are optimal.

If any problems are detected during the inspection, we will provide you with a detailed assessment and recommend the necessary repairs or replacements. Rest assured, Dyno-Comp only uses high-quality parts and adheres to the best practices to ensure the longevity and efficiency of your auto A/C system.

Stay Cool with Confidence – Auto A/C Inspections at Dyno-Comp.

Do I just need a recharge, or a full A/C inspection?

An inspection first is the smarter move. Weak cooling can be as simple as low refrigerant, but it often points to a leak or a worn component, and topping off the refrigerant without finding the cause is not ideal. An inspection pinpoints why it is weak so you fix it once and done. The mechanics at Dyno-Comp can check your system and tell you what it actually needs. Stop in during Mon-Fri: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM | Sat-Sun: Closed.

How do you find an A/C leak?

There are a few methods, depending on the leak. Our technicians often add a special dye that shows up under UV light, or run a pressure test to see where the system loses charge. Because refrigerant leaks can be slow and hidden, this kind of inspection finds the source that a simple top-off would miss. At Dyno-Comp, we can track down where your system is losing refrigerant. We're open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

Why is my A/C cooling intermittent instead of staying consistently cold?

Intermittent cooling usually means something specific is going on, not just a system that needs a quick top-off. It can come from refrigerant that is borderline low, a compressor clutch that cycles in and out, or an electrical or airflow issue, and each leaves its own clues. An A/C inspection at Dyno-Comp is the first step to narrow it down.
